DAY 1: ARRIVAL – HANOI (D)
Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check in.
DAY 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)
AM: Visit President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (opened in all the morning, except Monday & Friday and the whole months of October & November) and his residential area, One-Pillar Pagoda, The bustling 36 street Old quarter, Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple and mythical Sword Lake.
PM: After lunch, take a direct transfer to Ha Long Bay, a Vietnam’ World Heritage acclaimed by UNESCO.
DAY 3: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L/D)
AM: take a 04hrs leisurely boat trip on Halong Bay. The Bay is surely one of the most impressive landscapes on earth with thousands of small islets and limestone cliffs, full of caves and caverns in emerald green waters. Legend has it that a dragon created this beautiful tranquil setting as it dived into the sea from heaven. Stopover visit Thien Cung cave.
PM: Back to Hanoi. Envening enjoy Water Puppet Show.
DAY 4: HANOI – DANANG – HOIAN (B/L/D)
AM: Transfer to airport for departure flight to Danang. Visit Marble Mountain. Then transfer to Hoian.
DAY 5: HOIAN – HUE (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. In 1999, Hoi An was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO as a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port of the 15th to 19th centuries, whose buildings display a unique blend of local and foreign influences. Hai Pho was a originally divided town, the Japanese Bridge spans across the river. Walking in Hoi An ancient town.
After lunch we drive to Hue passing by Danang and Hai Van tunnel. Dinner and overnight in Hue.
DAY 6: HUE – HCMC (B/L/D)
AM: Hue formerly known as the Imperial City, the first Vietnam’s World Heritage, visit the Imperial Citadel, The tomb of King Khai Dinh, then take a boat cruise along the romantic Perfume River with stopover at Thien Mu pagoda, Dong Ba market.
PM: Transfer to Airport for departure to HCMC by VN1375 (1820-1945). HCMC tour guide meet and transfer to hotel for check in.
DAY 7: HCMC – CUCHI – HCMC (B/L/D)
AM: Drive to Cu Chi Dist. Visit an amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi tunnels. There are more than 200 km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. Back to HCMC.
PM: Visit China Town, Thien Hau Temple, Notre Dame Cathedral (out view), Central Post office and Ho Chi Minh City Hall.
DAY 8: HCMC – MYTHO – HCMC (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, you drive to My Tho – the entry to the Mekong Delta, the biggest rice basket and fruit garden of Viet Nam that offers riverside views, rice paddies, evergreen fruit orchards. You visit ancient Vinh Trang Pagoda built at the end of 17th century and take trip by motor boat along Mekong river, by rowing boats through canals to orchards, visit farmer’s gardens, villages bordered by fruit tree fences. Under the green trees in farmer’s garden, you’ll enjoy fresh seasonal fruits and see how the villagers make coconut candy and other items of palm trees. A special dish named “ Elephant- ear fish “ which is fried till crispy is served during lunch.
PM: Return to HCMC. Free time shopping at Ben Thanh Market.
DAY 9: HCMC – DEPARTMENT (B)
Pick up and transfer direct to HCMC airport for your homebound flight.
