Ha Long Bay ranks 2nd among the Top 25 Natural Destinations in the World

(TITC) – The leading online travel platform in the world, Tripadvisor, has recently announced the list of the top 25 natural destinations worldwide as part of the Travelers’s Choice Best of the Best Destinations awards. Among them, Hạ Long Bay holds the second position among the top 25 natural destinations in the world in 2024.

It is known that this is an annual prestigious award honoring destinations that receive the highest reviews from the community, reflecting excellence in the field of tourism.

Ha Long Bay, located in Quảng Ninh province, is widely known by domestic and international tourists as one of UNESCO’s recognized World Natural Heritage sites. It not only boasts crystal-clear emerald waters and nearly 2,000 limestone karsts in various shapes, but also features numerous fascinating caves that create a vivid and mystical world. Hundreds of limestone islands, each with a unique shape, contribute to a lively and diverse landscape. Hidden within these limestone islands are stunning caves such as Thien Cung Cave, Dau Go Cave, Sung Sot Cave, Virgin Cave, and Tam Cung Cave.

In addition, Hạ Long Bay is also a place of rich and diverse biological diversity with a thriving ecosystem. Most recently, on September 16, 2023, in the capital city of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), UNESCO recognized the Hạ Long Bay – Cát Bà Archipelago ecosystem as a World Natural Heritage site. This acknowledgment is due to the area’s natural beauty, including limestone islands covered with lush vegetation, sharp limestone peaks rising from the sea, and associated karst features such as arches and caves.
