VT-SICP03: HANOI – TAM COC – HALONG 5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS

Explore the beauty of Vietnam with our 5-day tour from Hanoi to Tam Coc and Halong Bay. Experience the serene landscapes of Tam Coc, known as the “Halong Bay on Land,” with its limestone karsts and winding rivers. Then, embark on a journey to the enchanting Halong Bay, famous for its emerald waters and towering limestone islands. Discover the best of both worlds in this unforgettable adventure.

Day 1: HA NOI – ARRIVAL (No meals)

Pick up at Noi Bai airport. Transfer to hotel for check in.

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2: HANOI – SIC TOUR TO TAM COC – HANOI (B/L)

8:00 – 8:30 AM : Pick up at your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quater, then leave by coach to Hoa Lu (2.5 hrs). Visit the historic capital of Viet Nam and the famous ancient temples of Le and the Dinh Dynasties.  Then our bus will transfer you from Hoa Lu to Tam Coc for lunch around at 12:30PM.

After lunch, boat trip to visit Tam Coc to see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone.  Then, cycle for an hour on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops in Tamcoc – Bich Dong (around 5 km). Drive back to Ha Noi and drop off at your hotel around at 06:00PM.

Day 3: SIC CITY TOUR IN HANOI (B/L)

08:00 – 08:30 A.M : Pick up at your hotel (joint tours will free pick up all points in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).

Places to visit : President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum , the One Pillar Pagoda, the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist – dating from the Ly Dynasty) and the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on the West lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam), Bat Trang pottery village (apply on Mon, Wed & Fri). Lunch at local restaurant.

PM: the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. Passing Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. Ending tour at Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration. Tour ends around 15h30 – 16h00.

Note: On Monday and Friday morning, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and museum are closed.

Day 4: HANOI – SIC HA LONG BAY TOUR- HANOI (B/L)

08:00AM – Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Halong Bay, Quang Ninh province.

A short stop for relax at around 10:00 or 10:30.

12.00PM – Arrive at Bai Chay wharf, welcome by crew team and start enjoying 4-hour cruise around Halong Bay.

Seafood lunch onboard.

Walk into the Thien Cung cave (Heaven Palace cave) then cruising along the World Nature Heritage part to see the Incense Bowl islet, Cock fighting islets Sail islet, Turtle island…. If weather permitting, we can enjoy our great time with swimming and floating on the tranquil bay.

04:00PM – Back to the wharf for transferring to Hanoi.

07:00PM – Arrive at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 5: HANOI – DEPARTURE (B)

Have breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for leaving flight.
